Our client is a major operator on cable-stay bridges, the reinforcement of existing structures, ground improvement techniques and heavy lifting of structures.

JOB SUMMARY

The D-Wall Mechanic Superintendent is the technical mechanic expert executing the assembly, commissioning and maintenance of the equipment throughout the project. He/she has an extensive experience in the specialised field of the Diaphragm Wall Equipment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanic roles in special foundations equipment both in workshop and on site.

At least 5 years of experience leading teams of mechanics

Relevant trainings on BAUER (MC64, MC96, BE500, BC40) and LIEBHERR (HS885HD, HS8100HD, etc) equipment.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Acts as the technical expert on site for the mechanic and hydraulic specificities of the special foundations Equipment on site.

Coordinates the mechanic assembly of the Diaphragm Wall Trench Cutter setup in close cooperation with the supplier's appointed competent representative.

Conducts the commissioning checks on site, performed with the attendance of the production team.

Supervises the team of mechanics/technicians during the preventive and corrective maintenance and organizes the resources on all the daily tasks.

Trains the newly arrived team members on the technical aspects. Acts as trainer and recommends any specific training needs for the mechanic team.

Inspects the material prepared by external suppliers (ex: repair of hydraulic motor) to ensure respect of company's quality and engineering needs.

Reports the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance to the Plant CMMS Officer by filling the record forms.

Plays a key role in the respect and promotion of the company's QHSE standards by giving example to his team and the rest of the project team
