We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist M & E Contractor based in The City, London within the Construction, Civils and Infrastructure Sector. With a salary range of £70,000 to £80,000 depending on experience.

This is a key role within the Estimating department, and supports the business by planning and managing the bid processes. The position will be accountable for the development and submission of tenders and proposals to existing and prospective clients, within set timeframes and to the highest quality.

Duties involve

  • Identify, develop and update tender portals and frameworks, as required
  • Review and interpret client requirements and communicate with the wider estimating and proposals team to ensure they are demonstrated within the tender
  • Support with the creation of a Bid Matrix including, developing an overall structure of the bid submission process before writing commences
  • Identify departments internally who will need to provide input into the overall bid
  • Prepare bid timelines and action plans
  • Produce, communicate and report against bid timelines and action plans to drive opportunity through a structured, robust work winning process
  • Support internal and external stakeholders in the development of responses
  • Support the wider estimating team to ensure tender documentation is consistently of a high quality
  • Participate in proposal, bid and tender reviews
  • Review written submissions and create a review process
  • Coordinate and ensure the delivery of compliant, professionally produced bids within customer defined timeframes

You will have:

  • Knowledge of bid best practices and methodologies
  • Knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of the M&E and Infrastructure industries
  • Experience within a Bid Manager position
  • Proven and demonstrable experience of managing multiple bids of £10m and over
