My client are one of the fastest growing main contractors in the last 10 years, working on projects up to £1 billion in value. They are seeking a Procurement Manager to add to their current team and they would like somebody to specialise in Mechanical and Electrical.
They have a strong history and have built some of the most iconic projects in London and the surrounding areas. Traditionally they have worked on projects from £20 million - £100 million but have successfully delivered multiple projects in the 100's of millions.
Due to the continuous growth they are looking to add this Procurement Manager ideally to start in the next 2 months. The successful candidate will be reporting directly into the Procurement Director but will have a very autonomous role.
The managers style is to let their team get on with their job, be there if needed and not to micro manage. The company like people to challenge the way they do things and to make suggestions on how to improve.
A procurement managers duties will consist of:
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge the London Construction market having experience on large projects with M&E and be able to work off their own initiative. People from both main contractor and sub-contracting experience will be considered.

It's also the opportunity to work for a manager that likes people to work off their own initiative and doesn't micro manage.
