Are you a Construction Project Manager looking for your next permanent option? Are you seeking a salary up to £90,000 plus a car allowance of £7500, plus package? Do you have experience of building health care, laboratories or pharmaceutical projects? If so please read on....

My client are a tier 1 contractor with a turnover over £1 billion and are looking at continuing to grow and become one of the top 3 contractors in the UK. They have a full order book for at least the next 5 years and are extremely busy. For this reason they are looking to recruit a Project Manager for a £10 million new build and fit out of a laboratory in Guildford Surrey.

Ideally they are looking for this Project Manager to have successfully completed a laboratory previously with at least a £5 million build cost but if somebody has worked within a similar environment they will be considered. So somebody who has worked within Health care, pharmaceutical or research and development above £5 million I would be interested in speaking with.

The project is in it's early design stages so somebody coming on board sooner rather than later would be great but obviously most Project Managers will be on at least a months notice and this is fine.

The company are a very well known contractor who are consistently recognised for meeting clients demands and completing projects on time and to budget. They have a solid history in this area of construction as well as having being strong in main contracting in general. Projects typically range in value from £5 million - £100 million and are based all over the Southeast.

With this company there is also a huge chance for career progression, they are forward thinking and are growing so if this person is successful with this project there are options to progress up to an Operations Manager in the near future.

This role will report directly to the Operations Manager and is ideally suited to a proven Project Manager or somebody who is currently a Senior Site Manager who is ready to take their own project on.

A project managers duties will involve:

* Managing and helping appoint sub-contractors on site

* Responsible for all health and safety on site working alongside the Regional Health & Safety Manager

* Weekly reports into the Operations Director

* Be the main point of contact for the client

* Work with planner to keep the programme up to date and any changes be counted for

* Help keep the project on budget and deliver on time

* Create your work team with internal staff but may have to be involved with external recruitment
