The Role:

We are recruiting for an exciting new role based at one of our clients' regional offices, you will be someone who can take overall responsibility for selecting, interviewing, onboarding and managing a freelance workforce, working with senior directors to manage the resource as a whole for the company identifying gaps for freelance workers to support a number of projects nationally.

Including all associated administration supporting these activities, and reporting on a regular and routine basis to Senior Management Teams.

The Resource Manager will drive and support:

  • Resource Forecasting & Planning with Management
  • Management of the Order process
  • Develop and Build a talent pool of candidates managing the client brand when sourcing, vetting, interviewing and selecting
  • Management of the workforce performance to ensure high standards are maintained by liaising with hiring managers and obtaining feedback
  • Weekly/Monthly Live Management Information
  • Dedicated Recruitment Campaigns
  • Relationships with their supply chain

About You:

As a Resource Manager, you will have a great understanding of the construction recruitment sector and different job specifications, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be highly organised as you will be working in fast paced environment, in addition to the following:

  • Excellent communicator
  • Experience of Project management
  • Experience of working in the construction recruitment industry
  • Comfortable liaising with external project stakeholders such as the Client, Professional Services, Agencies, and candidates
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of dealing with senior management
  • Ability to effectively plan resource requirements to achieve desired outcome
  • Well organised and dedicated
  • Excellent administrator and record keeper
  • Thrives on responsibility
  • Honest and of high integrity
  • Approachable and empathetic where required
  • Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Experience of Asta Powerproject would be desirable but not essential
  • Ability to Multi-task
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise.
  • Sound knowledge of the different construction qualifications and certificates

The Opportunity

For your skills and experience we can offer a basic salary between £30,000 - £35,000 depending on your experience, with a bonus on top and benefits package.
